Getting Started with Raindex

Raindex empowers you to take full control of your trading strategies through automated, non-custodial, and perpetual strategies built with Rainlang. There are two ways to get started, depending on your needs and experience level a web interface and a self-hosted IDE.

Option 1: Web Interface (Simple)​

Best for users who want to use existing, proven strategies with customizable parameters.

How it works:​

  1. Choose a Strategy: Browse through our collection of pre-built strategies designed for different trading scenarios and token pairs
  2. Configure Parameters: Watch the tutorial videos and follow instructions to customize the strategy to your needs
  3. Deploy and Monitor: Launch your strategy and track its performance, with the ability to deposit or withdraw funds at any time

Option 2: Raindex IDE (Advanced)​

Best for users who want to create custom strategies or modify existing ones.

Setup Process:​

  1. Download the App:

    • Visit Raindex releases
    • Install the Raindex IDE on your system (mac or linux only)

  2. Configure Settings:

    • Get the latest settings from rain.dex.pubstrats
    • Open the settings page in the IDE
    • Paste and apply the settings

  3. Start Building:

    • Modify strategies from the web interface
    • Modify strategies from pubstrats
    • Create your own strategies from scratch

Which Option Should You Choose?​

Choose the Web Interface if you:

  • Have specific trading requirements
  • Are comfortable with code
  • Need advanced customization options
